This leading PE backed multisite business are looking to appoint a Financial Controller. The role will report into the CFO and manage as well as coach a small finance team. You will be working across the business with other stakeholders and the managers of all multisite locations.
As a key part of the finance team you will be very hands on with your team ensuring that the business objectives are met in a timely manner in this fast paced and challenging environment. Leading the day to day activities you will have full ownership and accountability for all financial reporting.
Responsibilities –
- Coaching, leading, supporting and developing the finance team and the wider head office team (they will be a senior member of the team – company sec and involved in Board but won’t necessarily lead / develop the wider head office)
- Lead the preparation and co - ordination of the annual budget process
- Lead the audit process, work with all 3rd parties
- Prepare the quarterly covenant reporting
- Operational cash flow forecasting
- Period end close Lead board reporting and commercial decision analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Review management accounts
- Variance Analysis
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Business Partnering with all stakeholders
- Lead the development of group financial policy with the CFO
- Deputise for the CFO where required Preparation of annual statutory accounts
It would be essential to have experience of working in a multisite business and multisite team environment.
