Our PE backed, global multi-£bn turnover client require an Interim Group Chief Accountant as they go through a period of ambiguity, change and re-structure. You will report into the Group FC and be responsible for implementing group consolidation and reporting tools. The role will be based in Central London for 6 months initially, with some ad-hoc international travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the key requirements of the business, and implement appropriate Group consolidation processes from scratch
- Implement Group reporting processes to ensure the robust, accurate and timely delivery of consolidated numbers within the complex, international Group
- Identify and advise the implementation of an appropriate ERP system to enhance and support the Group function
- Work with international stakeholders to drive change and process implementation
- Respond to ad-hoc requirements, particularly regarding M&A activity
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.)
- Demonstrable experience within an international, large-scale Group – particularly exposure to the US
- Previous experience implementing group consolidation tools from scratch
- Hands-on approach with the ability to be the ‘do-er’ and the reviewer
