Financial Accountant

Well known business in Knaresborough are now recruiting a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Financial Accountant. The company has consistently grown over the last few years and is now one on the most successful businesses in the area. The role will work closely with the FD, and play a key role in the finance function. The role will be varied and fast paced, with several opportunities to get involved with company projects and progress to senior positions.
In this role you will be responsible for:

*Work closely with financial records and statements for company clients
*Ensuring company is adhering to official accounting standards in all processes and systems
*Collect necessary tax documents and liaise with senior stakeholders re company financial status.
*Analyse accounting systems used, looking for inaccuracies and potential improvements
*Create efficient methods for accounting and financial record-keeping and help business clients to implement them
*Work with business managers to assess and identify methods for cost-reduction and efficiency improvements
*Taking responsibility for statutory accounts, ensuring all records adhere with regulations

Ideally you will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and have experience working with statutory or financial accounts. You will be a career minded motivated financial accountant/management accountant who is committed to developing and expanding your own skill sets and development.
