Interim Finance Manager – 3-6 months

About the Role:
Based in near Thame, Oxfordshire, my client, a growing presence in their industry, is looking to recruit a Qualified Accountant to join them as Interim Finance Manager for a 3-6 month period.
The company is going through a period of significant growth and has become a leading presence in their field across the UK and Europe, this has led to a restructure of the finance department and the need for an Interim Finance Manager to provide support across the finance team with reporting, planning and a number of projects as well as through year end.
Main responsibilities of the Interim Finance Manager:
- Setting up a cash flow tracker for actuals and forecasts for use by regions and for consolidation purposes
- Analysis of cash movements and comparison with the targets/budgets
- Assisting in M&A support involving acquisitions forecasts and cash flow
- Update budget and models with monthly actuals, additional reforecasts/budgets and acquisitions
- Assist in development and testing of the Financial models
- Assist with IFRS conversion
- Assist with 2020 budget planning, including setting up regional templates, consolidated file design and schedules for budget presentation
- Assist in UK tax work including development of tax schedules and reconciliations
- Analysis and development of inter-company matrix for the group
- Assist in updating and setting up various Excel templates used in reporting and analysis process
- Attention to detail
The Ideal candidate for the Interim Finance Manager:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA /ACA / ACMA).
- FP&A and reporting experience gained within a dynamic international business.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent reporting, analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong systems and IT skills with excellent Excel, including modelling.
- Good communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the ability to function as a team player
