An SME Trade Distribution business is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function as it continues on its growth trajectory. Reporting to the MD you will be responsible for the finance function and also supporting the senior management team with strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities include:
- Day to day management of the finance function and all aspects of financial control
- Management of a small finance team
- Budget planning, forecasting, management accounts, cashflows and statutory returns
- Management of stock c. 3,000 SKU's
- Payroll
- Reporting intelligent financial analysis and commentary to support strategic decision-making
Experience required:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Experience managing a small team
- Previous experience or understanding of working in a family business essential
- International exposure in particular FX
- Hands-On approach
