I have just been briefed on an exciting Purchase Ledger opportunity with a successful, growing and extremely friendly organisation based close to Stevenage. This is initially a temporary assignment with a view to going permanent at the end of the contract. This is an urgent need and my client would ideally like the successful candidate to be in position as soon as possible.

Experience required:

  • Supplier statements reconciliations
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Knowledge of accounting rules, systems and procedures
  • Ability to prioritise work and manage potentially conflicting demands on time
  • Familiar with computerised accounting systems;
  • Experience of Sage and advantage;
  • Experience of using Excel
  • Computer literate

The ideal candidate will also:

  • Ability to work quickly and accurately;
  • Highly motivated, well organised and methodical;
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with different stakeholders, both internal and external;
  • Ability to deliver completed tasks to a consistently high standard and meet deadlines.
