Our client based in Exeter are looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant.
The successful candidate will be reporting into the Managing Director, along with line management of one direct report.
This will be an all encompassing role, where there will be the opportunity to really get to know the business and build on your knowledge of the sector.
Description:
- Produce sales invoices and ensure clients are complying with agreed payment terms
- Production of application for payments for large construction projects
- Weekly cashflow forecasting
- Preparation of profit and loss report
- Reconciliation of accounts; including balance sheet, bank accounts and debtors and creditors
- Working knowledge of Sage
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Production on monthly payroll and statutory submissions
- Fixed asset register
Profile:
- Experience in a similar role
- Fully qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or actively studying towards
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player
