Commercial Finance Manager

Axon Moore is partnering with a growing private equity backed travel business in Lancashire who are looking to bring in a new Commercial Finance Manager. This role is to help drive a new commercial insight and to dive into a key side of the business and work on a new transaction. Following recent private equity investment there is now a real desire to build a real commercial finance capability to help drive one of divisions within the international group. This role will be reporting into the Commercial Finance Director and work closely with several other directors across the group.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Drive and review the teams annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and their preparation of management accounts including commentary, P&L and balance sheet analysis
• Reviewing and develop the current financial planning, month end cycle and reporting processes across the division
• Create new processes within the management accounts and commercial functions
• Explain financial/management information and performance of the business which includes performance vs budgets/forecasts
• To help support effective use of financial planning and reporting outputs
• Balance sheet control, WIP, cash flow forecasting, internal/external reporting and supporting statutory accounts production
• Driving and developing a growing commercially minded qualified finance team
• Business partnering with several key stakeholders across different divisions

You will be a fully qualified accountant from either a ACA, CIMA or ACCA background with a strong academic track record and experience of working in a fast-paced and commercial environment which includes running a commercial team. In return, you will join an organisation that will be keen to develop and promote this successful candidate for future senior financial and commercial positions.

The package is £50k - £60k + bonus + benefits
