My client, a growing financial services organisation with an enviable reputation, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their busy finance team. This is a highly visible position within the company and interacts with multiple departments.
The key purpose of this role is to support both financial and non-financial stakeholders across the business, delivering on core Finance processes, reporting, systems and associated initiatives.
Main duties will include:
· Produce high quality business requirements from a functional and non-functional perspective that are accepted and approved within agreed time lines and objectives.
· Leading and facilitating system and process improvement workshops
· Resolving scoping issues and stakeholder conflicts
· Delivering end to end traceability against business requirements and functional specifications
· Contribute to project documentation and planning documents e.g. PID’s, RAID’s and project plans.
· Conduct business impact assessments and feasibility studies as required.
· Conduct research into systems, processes and products as required, making recommendations for the best options available to meet business objectives.
· Work to the agreed Group quality framework to ensure process risk is mitigated and, where required corrective action implemented.
· Ensure effective data analysis and reviews are carried out to support making the project business case and implementing business change.
The successful candidate will have:
· Minimum 3 years previous experience as a Business Analyst industry is essential.
· Previous experience within the Financial Services Industry is desirable.
· Strong knowledge of waterfall methodology.
· BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent qualification is desirable.
