A reputable firm of Chartered Accountants based in Bolton are looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their growing team. This opportunity will allow you to demonstrate and grow your qualified skill-set at a long-established accountancy firm based in Bolton. This chartered practice offers a full-rounded service to an extensive variety of established clients which will include audits, accounts, taxation, business support services as well as offering consultation around strategic planning. Specialist knowledge of the healthcare sector and Charity /not-for-profit organisations is also provided by the firm who demonstrate an emphasis on client relationships and adding value through a wide-ranging service offering.

Your new role
The Practice are looking for audit & accounts senior to come in and hit the ground running who will show ambition to progress within the business. You will be operate in a varied role and be responsible for leading on a range of accounting and audit assignments. Day to day you will be responsible for preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations, leading small audit teams with involvement in the planning and completion of audits. You will be operating in a client facing role and take a lead alongside the manager in developing and maintaining a strong client relationship. The weighting of audit - accounts assignments can be flexed to suit the successful individual.


What you'll need to succeed
The Partners are looking for somebody to come in who has extensive experience working within audit in an accountancy practice, operating in a split audit and accounts role. The successful candidate will ideally be ACA / ACCA qualification and can also a good level of corporate tax compliance knowledge. The ideal candidate will be able to utilise their full skill-set across the other areas of the business.
