SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a business on the outskirts of Burton on an initial 9 month Maternity Cover. You will join a small, fast paced department where no two days are the same. A great working environment, on site parking and an attractive salary is on offer.

The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:

- Setting up new customer accounts
- Credit Control
- Customer Reporting
- Purchase ledger, including invoice queries, payments and statement reconciliations
- Processing sales and purchase invoices and accounting for incoming payments
- Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct
- Managing petty cash transactions and employee expenses
- Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits
- Customer reporting/analysing data as required

Skills and Experience:

Experience working in a varied accounts role
SAGE 50 experience would be advantageous
Good communication skills
