The Role
An Audit Senior is being sought to join the office in order to provide direct support to the partners & audit managers. The mix of work within the role is varied and consists of over a hundred clients of different sizes across a range of sectors including manufacturing, solicitors and construction and property.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out audits for companies and LLPs with revenues between £10-£50 million, from budgets/planning through to finalisation
- Audit supervision and planning, including completion of files for manager or partner review
- Supervision and development of junior staff
- Visit client's premises
- Client liaison including dealing with queries and resolving issues on site
- Management of smaller jobs reporting straight to partner
The Individual:
- Professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA
- At least 3 years' audit experience in a similar sized practice
- Good IT skills, including experience of using different audit packages or systems and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Confident communicator, able to liaise with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Accurate, methodical and organised
- Smart and personable
- Willing to travel to a range of client sites predominantly within Yorkshire (Will be reimbursed for time)
