Partner Financial are engaged with a leading consumer business based in West London. They have grown significantly over the last 18 months, which has resulted in them investing in the brand and the customer experience. The company have built a very high performing team with an inclusive and collegiate environment.
Reporting into the Head of Financial Reporting, the Group Financial Accountant will play a key role in delivering complex accounting statements to ensure that the company has a solid framework in place.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing the Group quarterly reporting pack and Group annual report;
- Consolidating the Group financial results;
- Performing technical research, analysis and drafting technical papers on emerging technical accounting issues;
- Reviewing FRS 101 and FRS 102 statutory accounts for the Group’s subsidiaries;
- Preparing statutory accounts for the centrally managed subsidiaries;
- Providing technical accounting guidance on a range of issues;
- Developing a broad understanding of the financial aspects of the business;
- Providing information on a regular basis to the internal and external auditors;
- Supporting on various initiatives and projects.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a Qualified Accountant (ACA) from practice
- Have excellent knowledge of IFRS and UK listing rules
- Have a natural ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
- Have an inquisitive mind-set where you continuously seek process improvement
