The Business Assurance Analyst will support and lead on business improvement activities, delivering customer satisfaction, cost reduction and revenue growth where applicable.

 

Business Assurance Analyst responsibilities:

  • To assure the monitoring, validation and reconciliation of e2e processes of the revenue, cost and margin cycles
  • To ensure they are timely, complete and accurate in addition to promoting customer confidence through robust control improvements
  • To promote margin improvement and accuracy through robust margin reconciliations between Order through to Billing systems for all products and services
  • To assure the implementation and integration of products, services and systems in order to reduce and prevent revenue leakage through monitoring models or reduce cost where applicable
  • Lead as an expert in Requirements gathering, Requirements Management, Data Analysis, Data Modelling and Root cause analysis
  • To work closely with Product, Operational, Engineering & Finance units, supporting change initiatives that will reduce revenue leakage, measurably reduce costs and therefore increase margin. Also as a result, then aim to improve organisational efficiency and productivity
  • Supporting the Billing Dispute team, through transformational programmes that drive efficiencies and or process system improvements that reduce disputes that they receive
  • Proficiency in multiple languages to collaborate more effectively with the off-shore teams

 

The candidate:

  • Experience in business assurance, billing, networks, engineering and procurement systems and processes
  • In depth experience on technical expertise like SQL Server, Oracle 11g, Unix, Linux and ETL Tools
  • Advanced level of data modelling and data mining
  • Advanced level of MS Access & Excel skills that can clearly be demonstrated through practical application, which should include items such as pivot tables, advanced formulae VBA, full utilization of access objects etc.
  • Advanced level in other Microsoft applications like MS Visio, PowerPoint, InfoPath, OneNote and Word
  • Ability to document complex process and controls including process mapping exercise
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools
  • Oracle Business Intelligence utilisation and data visualisation tools
  • Experience with management information and financial systems
  • Experience with Informatics
  • Project and virtual team experience
