Audit Manager

The Role

An Audit Manager is being sought to join the office in order to deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of clients and provide direct support to the partners at the firm. The role would require the management of a team of staff through reviewing and delegating work.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the financial management of a portfolio of clients.
• Day to day management of a team of staff, including reviewing work of staff members
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients at senior levels, being a principal point of contact throughout the year.
• Set timetables and control assignments from start to finish
• Develop a strong commercial understanding of the clients' businesses
• Support Partners and Senior Managers in the development of new business relationships and business proposals through high level sales and marketing activity.
• Providing training and development to junior members of staff
• Participate in Firm wide activities

The Individual:

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• A minimum of 4-5 years' experience working in an audit role within a similar sized accountancy practice
• Experience of leading, supervising and coaching members of staff

• Good IT skills, including experience of using different audit packages or systems and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Confident communicator, able to liaise with clients and colleagues at all levels
• Accurate, methodical and organised
• Excellent organisational ability
