General Ledger Accountant - Stockport - Large Corporate Business - Up £32,000 with benefits


Your new company
An international corporate business in Stockport are looking to recruit a General Ledger Accountant to join their finance team. This company has grown considerably over the last five years and has plans to continue to do so. This business partners with a number of blue chip companies and are at the forefront of innovation in their industry.

Your new role
This new role reports in to the Finance Manager and will be essential to efficient and smooth running of the finance function. The duties will include, completing the balance sheet schedule, accruals and prepayments, intercompany and account reconciliations, preparation of year-end accounting files and tax packs, maintaining and reconcile fixed asset registers and assist with audit questions during quarterly reviews and annual audits by auditors.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to part or fully ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified and have experienced of working within a finance shared service centre (FSSC) and across multiple cost centres. You will need to be an excellent communicator and have advanced MS Excel skills.
