We currently have an exciting opportunity for an FP&A Management Accountant to join the finance team. Based in Widnes, the successful candidate will support the Nordics Region (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden), with a focus on accurate GM reporting. As well as normal monthly duties for an MA, this role will allow you to work closely with both financial and non-financial staff in various different countries, providing key information and analysis which will directly influence decision-making.

FP&A Management Accountant Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for offering financial support across 4 European countries in both our focused industries (Food, Case & Personal Care) and our local chemical distribution networks.

+ Reviewing invoice lines to ensure accuracy of margins and process any corrections on SAP
+ Review and analysis of ‘Other cost of sales’ such as sales rebates, purchase rebates and stock loss
+ Monthly review and analysis of aged stock working alongside the region inventory procurement manager
+ Monthly review and analysis of our standard costed materials to maintain accurate stock values
+ Production of key SOX compliant reports for management teams
+ Production of accurate balance sheet reconciliations
+ Improving finance processes and resolving existing issues
+ Other ad-hoc duties to support the Head of FP&A for the region

What We Are Looking For:

An AAT qualified or CIMA studier. We will financially support your development as you grow into this exciting role within what is a progressive, fast-paced company.

You will be able to communicate effectively with non-financial managers. Enthusiasm and a proactive attitude are essential. Experience of SAP is preferred. A quick learner of the company’s business information tools would be fundamental along with strong Microsoft excel skills.
