Financial Accountant

We're working closely with a large multinational business who are currently looking to bolster their central Finance team with the addition of a Financial Accountant to focus on the EMEA region. Whilst the core of the role is based around Financial Accounting, there is also a large analytical slant on it with various opportunities to expand on experience on the more commercial side of Finance.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Responsibility for the timely and accurate statutory financial reporting of a number of entities across Europe.
• Ownership of the Balance Sheet and any associated commentaries including reconciliations each month, with a proactive resolution of any issues. Review a number of results and challenge where required.
• Review of various processes and procedures alongside senior leadership
• Ability to deputise for Financial Controller when necessary.
• Reviewing and reporting on performance, identifying and highlighting any areas of opportunity or weakness to the wider commercial audience, including the senior management team.
• Co-ordination of activities with both Clients directly and the European shared service centre. 
• Ad hoc analysis as required.

Ideally you will be ACA qualified from practice with 0-3 years PQE. This a great opportunity to join a key player within the Property sector and a play a pivotal part in their continued development both in the UK and across EMEA.
