Financial Accountant (EMEA)

Partner Financial are engaged with a listed multinational property business based in Central London. They are fast becoming the global leader in the sector due to their service focus - driving organic growth. Over the last 12-18 months, the company has outperformed the market through acquisitions and ongoing investment.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Financial Accountant to gain experience in a dynamic and prestigious business. The role is responsible for all Group reporting requirements and controls on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for the EMEA Advisory segment, ensuring that company accounting policies, US GAAP and SOX requirements are being met.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with monthly actual submissions in Hyperion Financial Management and monitoring regional submissions;
• Conducting corporate analytical monthly reviews for EMEA entities and communicating this effectively;
• Leading the EBITDA analysis and review;
• Producing the annual, monthly and quarterly reporting requirements and SOX activities to the Global Controllership team under US GAAP;
• Supporting the drive to review and standardise key accounting policies, ensuring effective deployment and monitoring;
• Identifying close cycle improvement opportunities, including process standardisation to assist in the implementation of these improvements;
• Ad-hoc analysis as required.

Profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) from a practice background
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and relevant experience in month end accounting and statutory reporting
• US GAAP and SOX experience is desirable
• Experience using ERP and consolidation systems
• An inquisitive mind-set where you continuously seek process improvement
• A natural ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
