Finance Analyst - Investment Management

This worldwide Investment Management organisation requires an Interim Finance Analyst for Central Reading. Below are the key requirements -

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide a full range of administrative support whilst maintaining all aspects of the FITS market data inventory system to manage our $90m MDS spend globally.
- Work with business partners to consult on best practice and maximisation of potential cost savings globally.
- Assist with reviewing market data contracts to ensure contractual language is complied with and that use policies and procedures are followed globally.
- Support and build on strategic relationships with external suppliers and internal business clients. Coordinate and work with IT Product and Support managers as appropriate.
- Work with internal budget holders, Finance and our Global Procurement partners to ensure product on-boarding is correctly approved prior to purchase and in line with local financial legislation, business budgets and broker arrangements.
- Assist with annual business budget planning and analysis. Provide regular departmental and budget holder analysis and reporting. Provide assistance and solutions to business client enquiries on their MDS usage or future requirements.
- Ensure correct procedures are followed to ensure Global Data Governance process and best practice is complied with for MDS and Benchmark data.
- Maintain MDS Global Contract Database and work with vendors and budget holders on contract control and maintenance. Work with Procurement and Legal to ensure contracts follow the agreed process for review and sign off.
