This is an extremely exciting oppotunity to join a leading Private Equity/Investment Manager. The business has experienced consistent and rapid growth for years. They have a slick environment and very social culture, built on teams of high calibre people.
The successful individual will be joining the Central Finance team . They will primarily focus on Statutory Reporting, Balance Sheet reviews, Management Accounts and elements of Business Partnering. It will ideally suit someone who is 1-3 years Post Qualified and who has a proactive attitude and is generally a “people person”.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting:
- Preparation of management reports for specific business areas within the Group and assisting with the monthly Group consolidated management accounts
- Ownership of the statutory reporting function
- Preparation of VAT and regulatory (FCA and ONS) returns
Controllership:
- Ownership of certain UK legal entities and certain international offices.
- Ongoing review of the monthly reporting packs submitted by the international offices and acting as principal liaison for queries from the local office manager and outsourced bookkeepers
Forecasting:
- Support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Projects:
- Assist with ad-hoc projects, including new system implementation, as required
Personal Effectiveness:

- Remains composed under pressure
- Ensures effective communication with stakeholders throughout the business

- Ability to develop and document processes and controls to enhance the business procedures
Requirements/Preferences:
- ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA (or equivalent) – PQE 1-3 years
- Financial Services industry experience is essencial - ideally within Private Equity
- Excellent practical knowledge of accounting
- High level Excel knowledge required with financial modelling skills
- Experience of systems implementation an advantage
- Private Equity experience strongly desirable
- Financial Services experience required
- Experience working in an in-house finance team
