Hays are working with East Anglia's leading Independent Accountancy Firms to assist them in the recruitment of an Qualified Accountant.

You will join a firm which provides integrated advice and solutions to help their clients achieve their goals and stay ahead in a changing world. The services they offer range from Audit to Business Advisory and as a firm they are continuously evolving to ensure they remain the partner of choice for their clients.

The role
A new opportunity has arisen for a qualified Accountant to join the team in Colchester. You will manage a portfolio of clients incorporating companies, partnerships and sole traders. The portfolio will be a mix of medical and general business and private clients. Within your portfolio you will be responsible for reviewing accounts, business tax computations and personal tax returns and gain extensive experience in cloud accounting in a client facing role.

Additional qualifications and Experience
Ideally you will be ACA or ACCA qualified and you will be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and understanding of working with external clients. You will need to competently use Microsoft packages, internet, email and bespoke accounts software. This role will best suit someone who has previous experience of working in an Accounts role with experience of accounts preparation.
