About the role

This role is part of the senior management team, and will therefore require excellent previous experience in a managerial finance position.
You will manage the relationship with the divisional senior leadership team within your specific remit, partnering across areas such as e-commerce, sales & marketing, logistics, operations or production. This Finance Manager role will manage a team covering all areas adding value, business plans, identifying opportunities, budgeting, forecasting, planning and analysis. Direct reports will partner, support and challenge performance in trading meetings and reviews, the Finance Manager will oversee this.

Key responsibilities

• Manage partnership with the senior leadership and executive team
• Oversee provision of clear and simple decision support, analysis and commercial insight
• Cultivate excellent relationships with senior leadership and executive team
• Ensure first class communication, reporting and presentation of key financial information
• Challenge team performance with high attention to detail
• Responsible for improvement of financial modelling and analysis to help achieve strategic goals
• Coach and develop the team, demonstrating best practice at every level

Person profile

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (3 years+ PQE)
• Excellent academic background
• Proven experience gained within Digital, FMCG, technology, e-commerce with excellent experience of stock
• First class communication, analysis and presentation skill
• Demonstrable managerial finance experience
• Experience of working in a large complex business
• Ability to work quickly, accurately in a high pressure and rapidly growing, changing and fast-paced environment
