Your new firm
A large independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Bury town centre are looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and qualified accountant with audit and accounts experience to develop and grow their skill set. With multiple office across the North West, the firm are looking to appoint an experienced and personable individual to join the team. (not sure they do have multiple offices?!) With over fifty staff, this firm offer a range of compliance and advisory services to individuals and a range of businesses across the North West.

Your new role
You will be operating in a varied role and be responsible for leading on a range of accounting and audit assignments. You will be responsible for preparing financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies along with leading audit assignments for OMBs, limited companies and groups with turnovers ranging up to 50 million. You will operate in a client facing role and taking a lead alongside the manager in developing and maintaining a strong client relationships.

What you'll need
The successful applicant will ideally be a ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who has worked within a general practice and therefore has gained exposure to accounting, tax and audit. A personable individual who is happy to utilise their full skill set will be a perfect fit into the team. A prior experience of using Iris or CCH software is preferred
