The Company:

Highly successful and fast growing, our client is an established and innovative FMCG manufacturing, sales, marketing and distribution business, now embarking on its next phase of growth seeking a Finance Director to join their team.

The Finance Director Role:

As Finance Director you will lead and manage a 15 strong team and as a proactive and leading contributor to the business, you will cover all core activities associated with an Finance Director role at this level spanning Statutory, Group, Team and Change elements. Your responsibilities will include:

• Increasing speed, accuracy and efficiency of reporting
• embedding & leveraging ERP system and enhancing process & controls
• impacting business performance and improving key commercial & operational metrics
• delivering projects & initiatives to maximise market share, sales, margin and profits
• reviewing manufacturing, sales and supply chain cycles, costs and channels to markets

The Ideal candidate for the Finance Director role:

As Finance Director you will be a fully qualified accountant with knowledge of the FMCG, sales and distribution environment. You will understand the changing shape of wholesale and retail and have experience in manufacturing, development, sales, marketing and supply chain. Combining gravitas with high energy, you will be a strong and enthusiastic leader with good presentation and relationship building skills as well as experience of motivating and reviewing team structures for delivery of best outcomes. You will also have:

• ability to deliver accurate / timely reports
• good experience in process, reporting and systems optimisation
• ability to manage / deliver ‘business as usual’ and major initiatives in a fast change environment
• personal and professional integrity

Any international experience would be a further advantage.

Salary and Benefits: 

In addition to a competitive salary of £90,000 - £115,000, the successful candidate will also receive a bonus and car allowance.
