Financial Controller

Our client a niche manufacturing business is seeking a Financial Controller to join their team in a number one finance role.

As Financial Controller you will report into the Managing Director and take full responsibility for the day to day running of the finance function.

As Financial Controllers you get involved in the following:

- Responsible for the full management and financial accounting

- Preparing budgets, quarterly forecasts, stat accounts and annual external audit

- Reporting to the Head of Finance

- Working with colleagues to help maximise the finance teams capabilities

- Ensuring that appropriate systems of financial controls are maintained and to further develop finance policies and procedures

-- Responsible for the IT team

Within this role you will support the Managing Director in helping to drive business performance highlight opportunities to increase profit.

What you need to succeed:

You will have previously held a Financial Controllers role or something similar

- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified

- Experience of working in a commercial environment ideally for a manufacturing organisations

- Understanding HR Processes

- Good systems knowledge including Excel
