This role of an Assistant Management Accountant has come due to an internal promotion, the role offers exposure to the wider business, normally the exposure you would get when later on in your CIMA/ACCA studies. Therefore, its a great opportunity for a confident and ambitious Part Qual Accountant to gain valuable experience, ahead of your peer group.
Working closely with the management accountant, you'll play the business partner to the operational leadership team, analsying variances, labour, materials, wastage, overheads. The manager is always keen to provide a great work life balance, fantastic support and training valuable experience to coincide with your development.
The Role:
- P+L
- Journals, accruals, prepayments
- Variance Analysis
- Budgeting/Forecasting
- Liaising with non-finance professionals
The Person
- Studying PQ
- Confident to work with non finance leadership
- A good understanding of purchase ledger/sales ledger/general ledger
