Finance Analyst, Part qualified
North London
£30000-38000 plus study support and benefits package.
An exciting development opportunity for a part-qualified accountant/analyst, ideally with experience of long term contracts (construction, facilities, infrastructure, PFI contracts or similar sector). You will have ownership of a number of exciting projects and PFI contracts around the north London / east or England region.

An exciting development opportunity for a part-qualified accountant/analyst, ideally with experience of long term contracts (construction, facilities, infrastructure, PFI contracts or similar sector). You will have ownership of a number of exciting projects and PFI contracts around the north London / east or England region.
You’ll:
- Act as a Business Partner to the operations teams providing financial support, guidance and commercial challenge across the projects
- Develop detailed knowledge of contract financials and represent the finance function in the monthly forecast and reporting reviews
- Provide decision-driving analysis to leverage opportunities and mitigate risk
- Have responsibility for driving standardisation across finance processes within the region
- Ensure costing and system reconciliations are accurate to facilitate timely client billing
- Have responsibility for contract balance sheet reconciliations including standard costing, payroll control, WIP, VAT and Stock valuation
- Manage the month-end and year-end processes for contracts
- A part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience with sector relevant
- Strong commercial acumen
- The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organisation
- The ability to deliver results in a complex environment
- Demonstrable experience of business/process improvement
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and IT skills
