Assistant Accountant

Ignata Finance are working with a national organisation in Crawley who are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis. The right candidate will exposed to business partnering and have the ability to build strong relationships. You will ensure that the financial reporting and due diligence are kept up to date, whilst providing support and challenging the team around financial performance. You will be working with an established team to maintain the financial controls across the group, whilst maintaining the balance sheet, bank and inter-company reconciliation's are in line with the entries to the journals.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Supporting month end
• Monthly performance reports
• Budgets & forecasts
• Analysis of data

You will also need to work under limited supervision, and whilst the role has structure to it, and support is available from both the Accountant and Finance Manager, they are likely to be required to respond quickly to questions raised by the business. You ideally will be a part qualified accountant with the experience to partner with more senior members of the team.
