The Opportunity

One of the regions fastest growing businesses have a requirement for a qualified Commercial Management Accountant.

You will enjoy a highly visible and business-facing role with a high degree of project involvement.  Whilst there are elements of core accounting / financial reporting this role has a heavy commercial bias and you will enjoy supporting senior operational and commercial managers with project control through insightful finance business partnering.

You will enjoy

The Commercial Management Accountant role will include; production and presentation of detailed management accounts / MI, financial modelling and scenario mapping, trend analysis (spend, margin, profitability), KPI review and discussion.

You will play a role in impacting commercial decision making within a large growing division of a professional group amid ongoing investment.

The business requires

The Commercial Management Accountant role would suit an astute and career focused accountant.

You will ideally:

Have an excellent academic track record and be qualified ACA or CIMA.

Have a background within either:

1. A top tier practice with audit exposure
2. A large business as Management Accountant 

You need to be able to demonstrate commercial awareness and have an interest in business / strategy. 

You will need excellent analytical skills and ability to translate financial information into meaningful commentary / summaries for non-finance audiences.
