Experienced Finance Manager to work for market leading construction Company based near Waltham Cross

Progressive market leading property services /Construction group based near Waltham Cross/Enfield urgently require an experienced and Dynamic Finance professional to join a busy Accounts team .
You will report the Divisional Finance Director and support a large Finance department in the management and analysis of their monthly and Quarterly reporting strategy and day to day commercial
activities,ensuring effective controls,processes and information systems are in place to provide accurate and meaningful information for effective decision making.
Specific responsibilities will include :

  • Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Annual budgeting & strategic planning
  • Quarterly and monthly forecasting and monitoring
  • Periodic management reporting and analysis of Key performance indicators
  • Improving and developing systems and procedures to enhance quality of information
  • Lead outsourced and managed services for joint venture contracts
  • Effective Cash management reporting monitoring and forecasting
  • Statutory accounting and compliance in accordance with company policy and latest legislation
  • Act as a focal point for Audit queries and working closely with the external auditors
  • Manage the year end statutory accounting process for 3 entities including tax reporting


The ideal candidate will be :

  • An ambitious /Dynamic individual with lots of enthusiasm and the versatility to adapt to any given situation
  • ACA or ACCA Qualified ,professional with strong financial accounting experience gained within a high volume transaction based environment ,who has worked in both commerce and industry.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels with both finance and non finance people
  • Pro active , Highly analytical and very attentive to detail with excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Previous experience gained with in a large construction ,property services / management organisation or similar will be an advantage
