Head of Finance

Chilworth Partnership are working exclusively with a Southampton based Services SME, with over fifty years of history, in their search for a Head of Finance.

This will be a Number One finance position, partnering directly with senior stakeholders, that will help to contribute towards the strategic objectives of the company. You will oversee the production of all necessary financial information, including budgeting, forecasting, management and statutory accounts. The business operates in a project orientated environment so it is critical that you gain a strong hold and understanding of project financials through their complete life cycle, including cost allocation, working capital, cashflow projections and necessary commentary in order to maximise margins. You will also manage the outsourced IT function and look to make system improvements where necessary.

The successful applicant will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with experience of influencing senior management in a projects-based environment. You will also be a proven Business Partner and be able to mentor and develop the finance team. Experience of using Navision would be beneficial but not a pre-requisite.
