Management Accountant

Management Accountant | Surrey | £50K per annum | Bonus + Benefits

An innovative and seriously forward-thinking private equity real estate firm operating across a broad investment platform & deploying both institutional and private investor capital, my client seeks an ambitious management accountant as a new addition to an expanding high performing and well-regarded finance team.

The management accountant will be responsible for providing accurate quarterly financial reporting which analyses the performance of investments and which will provide the basis for ongoing decision making for both management and investor.

Responsibilities of your new role

As the Management Accountant your key responsibilities will include:

• Review/ preparation of quarterly fund accounts, fund reporting and quarterly management accounts and investor reporting for private equity SPVs
• Monthly rental invoicing for fund
• Liaise with valuators for quarterly fund valuation
• Management of the audit and tax compliance with external providers 
• Weekly monitoring of cashflows for SPVs 
• Review of SPV payment runs
• Review of VAT and CIS returns
• Assist the asset management team with calculating the impact on returns of alternative exit strategies 
•  Assist the acquisition team with financial aspects of new deals 
•  Assisting Financial Controller with ad hoc duties as required  

 
Candidate Requirements

The company seeks a Management Accountant who demonstrates:

• Qualified +2 years 
• Good technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles
• Prior experience of fund accounting
• Attention to detail
• Deadline orientated
• Excellent Excel skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
