This is a varied and challenging finance role for a fast-growing international hospitality brand based in central London.
Previously Finance has been outsourced but with the appointment of a new CFO, all aspects of finance will be brought in-house. Hence they have created this exciting opportunity for someone to exercise their analyst skills in a fast-paced and growing business.
The role:
- Ownership and further development of the group's detailed excel-based financial forecasting model
- Cover all group activities including clubs, membership, digital and central overheads in UK and US
- Monthly model over 4+ financial years
- Regular reforecasting, budgeting and scenario modelling, and updating for historic performance
- A variety of projects such as; developing accruals accounting module to run alongside the current cash-based model
- Recalibrating the model to take account of change in year end
- Ensuring a full link to summary schedules used for board and investor presentations
- Collaborating with senior management to provide analysis and validate key drivers and variables
We are looking for someone with:
- Accounting background (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
- Excellent excel modeller skills (mid level skills only - model is intentionally user friendly)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Maths A level or strong Maths GCSE
- Collaborative and good communication skills
- Comfortable working with all levels of management
- Hard worker - prepared to go above and beyond to meet needs of the business
