Ignata Finance are working with a leading services company located in the Gatwick area for the recruitment of a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the timely preparation of several entity accounts as well as supporting the FP&A Manager to provide ad hoc reports and analysis in relation to performance and costs.
Due to the nature of the role you will ideally match the following:
- Part of newly qualified accountant
- Ideally degree educated (Mathematics, Economics, Accountancy or Business related)
- Experience of either a systems upgrade or implementation
- Experience of analysing large quantities of data would be an advantage
- Assisted with both the budgeting and forecasting process
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the production of the monthly management accounts (3 sets).
- Produce ad hoc financial reports in relation to profitability, costs and overheads.
- Conduct variance analysis and report to FC.
- Provide commentary.
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Own the balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations across the group.
- Assist with the external audit process.
- Work across the business to support various projects including systems upgrades, HR projects and competitor analysis.
