Syndicate Accountant

A market leading insurer are currently looking for a Syndicate Accountant to join their rapidly growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a wide range of financial reports. 

In this Syndicate Accountant position the responsibilities will include:

• Producing Lloyd’s corporate member accounts and managing agent accounts.
• Producing annual underwriting reports and accounts for the managed syndicates
• Being responsible for the review of the QMA & QMB.
• Supporting the Syndicate Accounting function on ad hoc financial reporting projects including IFRS 17 and FCP.

The candidate for this Syndicate Accountant position must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with good IFRS technical knowledge and good regulatory understanding – specifically within insurance. Ideally the candidate would be from a practice background but would consider candidates working at a Lloyd’s Managing Agent and specifically having worked on regulatory reporting.
