Client Manager, Accountancy Practice - Hamble

Experienced practice accountant client manager for small accountancy firm in Hamble, Southampton, to £35,000

A small friendly accountancy firm in Hamble are looking to strengthen their team with the addition of an experienced practice accountant/client manager. Full-time or part-time (3 days+) considered.

You will be working with a wide range of clients ranging from startups to larger companies, industries cover many sectors including Marine, Professional services, Retail, Construction, Property rental and development, Transport, Information Technology, Design and Marketing and Service businesses. The work will involve predominantly accounts preparation work and may also include some tax returns preparation at busy times. A "hands on" approach is essential as you will be a pivotal part of a small team.

You will need to have substantial experience of working within accountancy practice preparing accounts for clients using computerised systems and could be formally qualified (ACA, ACCA or AAT) or "qualified by experience". You will need to have good client handling skills and be capable of mentoring junior staff if required. If you have exposure to VT Accounts, Xero and Quickbooks it would be an advantage but is not essential.

A competitive salary is on offer, depending on experience and qualifications, and flexibility on hours if required. A full-time person would be preferred but they could consider someone looking for 3 days per week upwards.
