Communicate are working with an up and coming sportswear retailer to place their Financial Controller. Having seen a recent round of investment and a large amount of growth in recent years, they are looking to hire a permanent FC.
The role reports directly into the CEO, so this is a true number 1 position in the business. Ideally, you would have had exposure to the senior leadership team and be comfortable taking the reins of the technical aspects of the business. This position would be well suited to an individual on an exciting career trajectory, looking to make their first stamp on the controllership piece.
This is a company that is very much brand focused, and the chosen candidate will not only be a technically competent individual, but somebody who is able to get on board with the teams’ product and ethos.
You will be ACA/CIMA qualified with significant PQE. Our client is in partnership with the likes of some big online retailers so extensive e-commerce and retail experience is a must.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- ACA/CIMA qualified with significant PQE
- Prior exposure to the e-commerce/retail space
- Strong technical accounting skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
