Head of Business Intelligence, multi-site consumer services, turnover £900m+, Midlands, competitive salary
I am currently working exclusively with a high-profile regional organisation to search for a high-calibre Head of Business Intelligence. My client is a multi-site consumer driven business based in the Midlands, has a turnover in excess of £900m and is looking for a performance driven, creative business leader to head up its Business Intelligence function.
A key aspect of this opportunity is operating as a senior advisor, translating analytics into business strategy and ensuring the board has an improved understanding of the markets that the business competes in, its performance and how improving Business Intelligence can improve business performance.
The role will be responsible for setting short, medium and long-term objectives to support the wider commercial agenda to maximise profitability and drive revenue. Having the ability to build a 'fact-first' mindset within the Executive team is vital, in order to make information readily available to drive high growth and strategic decision making.
In order to be successful, my client is looking for a candidate who can proactively identify opportunities in data to drive outstanding client experience for the company, employing a 'customer first' mindset in the establishment of all new data and analytical processes. Further, regulatory & risk oversight and governance for the business is crucial. Identifying, managing and mitigating current/emerging risks, along with supporting the development of a 'risk management attitude' in all employees is critical in enabling the company to develop further.
Previous experience of leading a business intelligence, insight or data analytics function is essential along with an appreciation of a high-volume data environment. Whilst a multi-site background would be ideal, this is not essential.
