Finance Manager

Fast growing start-up currently experiencing triple digit growth is recruiting for a Finance Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly/recently qualified accountant to join their business with a clear pathway to Finance Director.

Reporting into the CFO this role will involve provide reports to increase the operational excellence of the business and to increase its profitability; take ownership of the current finance team (two members of staff); improve existing finance processes, developing and overseeing an effective and efficient system of financial controls and procedures whilst always looking for potential; improvements; assist in implementing systems to improve sales growth; responsible for VAT and HMRC processes; track and forecast the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement; ad-hoc tasks as required.

The successful candidate won't be your traditional accountant. You must be a qualified accountant with previous management accounting experience, plus the ability to effectively communicate with senior management.
