Commercial Finance Analyst

Six (6) month fixed term contract with leading FMCG brand, to support the Head of Financial Planning and Reporting in producing high quality monthly reporting and planning cycle outputs. To include providing both regular and ad-hoc analysis, and supporting the development of reporting and planning tools across all regions and markets.

Providing regular snapshots of global volumes by region / market and brand

• Completing month end journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Producing Top 10 brand market combination reporting, with commentary on key variances
• Preparing sections of the global business unit monthly reporting pack, including bridging actual performance vs budget
• Preparing reports on performance
• Reviewing monthly performance to highlight trends, opportunities and risks
• Attending calls with the regions to review performance
• Reviewing regional submissions, ensuring key requirements are met 
• Analysing forecast depletions and performance, including commentary 
• Supporting the preparation of the business unit budget presentation
• Preparing bridges to show latest forecast vs previous planning cycles and prior years
• Ad hoc projects and analysis as required.

You will be:

• Part or fully qualified with finance professional qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA), or equivalent
• Relevant work experience in a commercial environment, preferably FMCG
• Keen eye for detail, data accuracy and integrity
• Excellent analytical and data manipulation skills
• Motivated, proactive self-starter who can work on their own initiative
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organisation
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, high growth environment with regular change
• Ability to meet deadlines and adopt a challenging approach to deliver robust, accurate financial data
• Ability to effectively organise and plan ahead
• Strong financial control ethic
• Advanced Excel skills and a working knowledge of Financial Systems
