This is a brilliant opportunity to join a rapidly growing global business as Finance Manager reporting directly to the divisional Managing Director. This company has recently expanded into the UK and is embarking on the successful execution of the strategic business plan, already tired and tested in several other markets across the globe.

About the role

Reporting to the Managing Director, this role has high exposure across the whole business and is the number one in finance. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take the FD title with requisite performance and delivery, this will be encouraged and supported. The Finance Manager will be responsible for all elements of finance from posting journals and reconciliations if needed, all the way up to presenting to the Group CFO in France. This truly is an 'all-rounder role' and therefore requires a self motivated individual prepared to do the basics, as well as the high level commercial and strategic elements.

Key responsibilities

• Define financial strategy in collaboration with senior leadership team
• Establish and develop financial processes, systems, procedures, controls and analysis ensuring all areas are fit for purpose and future development
• Oversee all elements of finance including monthly management reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, transactions and payroll)
• Recruit, coach and develop a small finance function that will business partner all other functions of the organisation
• Oversee the provision of excellent reporting, decision support and commercial insight to increase business performance
• Provide a clear and accurate view of working capital requirements in a timely manner

Person profile

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
• Fluent French and English
• SME business experience or ability to perform all areas of basic finance
• International experience and reporting under IFRS would be beneficial
• Reactive and reliable character
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal input required as this is a newly created opportunity and opportunity to shape the role from scratch
