Financial Compliance Manager

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Compliance Manager will be primarily responsible for resolving compliance issues across the revenue recognition piece whilst ensuring that governance, audit and SOx measures are all robust and fit for purpose. Critically, the Financial Compliance Manager will coordinate the SOx timetable thereby ensuring that control gaps are remediated and critical issues are discussed with both internal and external auditors.

Financial Compliance Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Providing hands on support to wider team members in relation to revenue recognition queries and sampling
• Supporting the external statutory audit by liaising constructively with auditors
• Working closely with the business, wider finance teams and the legal function to ensure the integrity of client contracts and Finance to ensure all client contracts
• Ensuring that the offshore team follow the agreed processes and monitor activity versus SLAs
• Stringently reviewing monthly controls
• Delivering quarterly risk reports
• Maintaining healthy, key relationships with a multitude of different finance and operational teams

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA)
• Demonstrable audit experience
• Strong technical ability including SOx and revenue recognition
• Excellent communicator both written and oral
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Emotionally intelligent, collaborative and engaging
• Able to explain complex financial issues simply and transparently
