Treasury accountant job at a FTSE 20 focusing on financial reporting, and treasury accounting



Your new company
A FTSE 100 are looking for a treasury accountant to join the treasury finance team for an initial 12 month period with the possibility to extend beyond this. The role will have you working with the financial reporting manager supporting with a wide range of accounting, reporting, control and project activities for treasury.

Your new role
As a treasury accountant you will offer treasury transactional support including maintaining accounting ledgers which will contain a large volume of high value transactions, as well as preparing and submitting quarterly results for group reporting consolidating in compliance. You will support the statutory accounts team with regards to treasury accounting activities, and get involved in process improvements across the treasury finance teams.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with strong financial accounting experience within a large corporate. Ideally you will have experience working within a treasury function and have strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for financial instruments and hedge accounting.
