A global insurance business with an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to diversity is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their established team. In this role the key deliverables will be:
Our client is looking for motivated individuals with good experience of producing SII Pillar 3 returns at a non-life insurance business. It is likely that you’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) and you’ll need to have excellent communication skills.
- Preparation of Solvency II Pillar 3 returns
- Preparation of various annual statutory accounts and regulatory returns
- Responsibility for accounting for business combinations and consolidations, acquisitions and disposals thereof.
- Provide expertise and knowledge of accounting standard developments, keep up to date with UKGAAP and IFRS developments.
- Liaise and communicate effectively with other areas of the business including: Actuarial, Legal and Compliance, Internal Audit, and other members of London Finance.
- Work effectively and efficiently to adhere to internal and external reporting deadlines to support increasingly demanding Group and local requirements.
