Group Consolidation Accountant

Global Accounting Network are working with one of the UK’s leading aviation businesses to find a Group Consolidation Accountant. Our client are currently a prominent leader in their field and regarded as one of the best companies to work for within this space. They have a global presence, providing luxury travel to locations in over 180 countries. 

The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic team based in London. You will be responsible for supporting the finance function with a range of accounting responsibilities and will be reporting directly to the Group Financial Reporting Manager. This role, which provides a high level of autonomy, is an excellent opportunity to develop in your career.

Responsibilities:

• Gaining a full understanding of the Group’s monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Monthly consolidations in SAP FC, reviewing inter-company balances, assisting the entity accountants in resolving and correcting inter-company differences, processing journals and ensuring adequate back-up is provided.
• Monthly consolidation of management accounts as well as ensuring that internal and external reporting deadlines are met.
• Analysis of results and providing supporting information for internal and external review purposes.
• Uploading of reporting packages of subsidiaries.

Profile:

• Qualified account (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
• At least 3+ years in a group accounting function
