Finance Director

We are looking for a dynamic, hands on and ambitious FD to join a property business based in East London. This role will suit someone seeking to have a positive impact quickly and to progress his/her career, adding tangible value to the business.

Responsible for overseeing of all financial reporting, covering both internal requirements (management information), shareholder/investor requirements (fund reporting) and statutory/regulatory requirements.

This role reports to the CFO and has two direct reports (Head of FP&A and Group Financial Reporting Manager) and an overall team of c people.

Candidate accountabilities and characteristics (ideal):

• Senior finance experience gained in a SME or private equity backed business
• Someone who will integrate within the wider operations of the business
• Autonomy; the CFO manages on the basis of delivery of output
• Proven commercial acumen with strong business and financial strategy experience
• People focused and aligned with the company's values
• Strong communicator and team builder
• Establish and maintain a framework of strong financial control
• Qualified accountant
