Financial Planning & Project Accountant

• Supporting the Finance Director in strategic financial planning with particular emphasis on long term business plans.
• Providing commercial advice to heads of departments and directors of the business.

Our client is a rapidly growing housing association that provides supported living solutions to customers across the UK.

Description

Key responsibilities include:-

• Lead in the creation of annual budget and forecast data and models, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and meeting business deadlines

• Financial modelling of new business proposals including first class reporting

• Engagement with the development team to produce a company wide view of new business proposals

• Senior management business partnering

• Create and maintain relationships across all departments to understand key drivers of performance

• Monitoring and managing cash-flow

• Ad hoc analysis and provision of financial advice as required to support the wider Finance Team, decision-making and monitoring of financial performance.

• Support Finance Director with projects or other requirements as needed.

Profile

Candidates will ideally be:-

• Strong financial accounting experience

• Have strong excel and communication skills

• Have experience of financial analysis and reporting

• Leasing, housing or Sage experience an advantage

• First class communication, presentation, reporting and analysis ability

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to meet tight deadline

• Flexible and able to embrace change

Job Offer

Circa £45,000 + Bonus + Pension
