fdu’s Interim practice is recruiting an Interim Financial Reporting Accountant for a high growth, private equity backed real estate business (t/o c£50m). The focus of the role is to support our client through their year-end close process whilst putting in place the correct processes and training to ensure that going forward the process is smooth and complete.
Key responsibilities:
- Owning and managing the year-end and month-end timetable.
- Co-ordinate all activity (and resources) to ensure a robust and timely year-end close process.
- Delivery of the year-end statutory accounts.
- Managing the relationship with Auditors (Big four).
You will:
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA) with excellent experience in the delivery of month-end / year-end timetables.
- Technically strong with a comprehensive working knowledge of IFRS, audit and statutory compliance.
- Possess experience of consolidations including multi-currency and a strong MS Excel skill set.
- Highly organised with excellent stakeholder management skills.
