A leading name in property development currently seeks a Financial Accountant to join their large finance team based in West London. The successful candidate will be joining a highly driven and demanding yet rewarding environment admired by its competitors within the industry.
Role Responsibilities -
- Production of statutory accounts for all UK and European entities, ensuring compliance with FRS 102
- Ensuring all accounts filed within required timescales, statutory or otherwise
- Responsible for producing co-ordinated statutory accounts and tax filing and compliance timetable
- Liaising with corporate accountants, tax, legal and company secretarial departments
- Drive continuous improvement of the accounts production process
- Preparation of tax pack information
- Assistance with Corporate Finance projects, including restructuring and liquidations
- Accounts production system management and maintenance
- Providing technical assistance in relation to new accounting standards
- Liaising with auditors
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required
Candidate Requirements -
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified accountant
- FRS 102 accounting knowledge
- Previous experience of preparing statutory accounts
- Advanced level excel skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Proven track record and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Able to use initiative to investigate further and foster change
